When I purchased my C64 (breadbox version) it came with a Commodore Plus/4 and Nearly a complete collection of "Commodore Magazine/Powerplay" and "Compute!'s Gazette" and also "Run magazine (much later Amiga Era)" After searching through my stacks from 1984 all the way up to 1992 I found some instructions for a Midi interface (from common parts of the time period) AND the source code for the program to control it! If anyone is interested I could scan the article and anything else that may be of interest. There is quite a bit there on music and lots of helpful programming references.

I plan to eventually scan all my magazines, but for now I will scan all their covers and host them somewhere along with the table of contents of each. I am sure there are lots of things in there that cant be found on the internet *yet* till now...
To everyone building this device, good luck!

LOL! see the article: "CD + MIDI"
Does this mean I can use my Duran Duran CD's to operate my MSSIAH cartridge? :]
Because, you know, I'm hungry like a wolf.
Someone please post this question to the MSSIAH Q&A.

8) This mean that in the past people had a strange idea of what a CD could have done. Or at least a strange idea was diffused to let the media seduce the people.

Well including midi's of the tracks on the Album wouldn't have been such a bad idea but meh...

Would have been great, but nobody ever had the intention to do so ![]()

Its ok, "I wear my sun glasses at night" so "Its Hip to be Square" because "Her Name is Reo" and she dances in the sand so "That's the power of love!" so "Don't you forget about me" because I'm "livin' on a prayer"
whoa too many songs there....
Also I found this midi clock....
